    OpenSUSE and GNOME 3.0 Questions

    Hi,

    I am a Linux newbie, and I managed to install GNOME 3.0 OpenSUSE on my computer. I am confused

    1)When I tried registering for OpenSUSE Forums (it doesn't let me make threads), there was a big thing at the top of the page that redirected me to a page saying that under no circumstances should I use GNOME 3.0

    2)How do I get root (or admin. Or something?) ? I am on a Live USB

    3)I'm on a netbook. Can I make these windows smaller and the top bar autohide?

    4)How do I download off of a live USB into a full partition?

    5)How do I get Java and Minecraft on this computer?
