    Unhappy Updated Suse causes monitor error

    Hi All

    How do I fix this?

    Updated OpenSuse 11.4 with all the patches

    When I rebooted, there is no monitor output [I get to selecting which boot option]

    If I select the non failsafe mode, then I get "Signal Out of Range"

    If I select "failsafe" mode, all is ok

    Monitor is a Tevion [ALDI / MD41977FE] [support 1280x1024/60Hz]

    Video Card is a Geforce2 MX MX400

    I was all working fine until it was patched

    YAST has no "monitor" information under the hardware section


    Any ideas?

    Had you installed the NVIDIA propritary driver? You may need to reinstall it.
