    Resolution in Opensuse 11.4

    Hello all!

Recently I have switched from version 11.2 to version 11.4 but can't use my full monitor resolution there.

    GFX: Nvidia FX5500
Monitor: BenQ T2210HD (max resolution 1920x1080)
    Drivers: Nvidia 173.14.28

I found out I'm unable to tweak Xorg.conf to use my full resolution. Haven't found any suspicious messages in Xorg.0.log

Running xrandr tells me the highest resolution possible is 1280x1024.

What am I doing wrong, could you help me troubleshoot, please?

    Thanks & regards,
    Bernard

Did you install the NVIDIA proprietary drivers?

Yes, as mentioned above, this is the Nvidia driver version (as taken from the nvidia-settings tool): Nvidia 173.14.28

    Regards,
