    Updating JAVA & Tomcat

    Hi all,

    Fairly new to linux.

    Im running a SLES10 box with JDK 1.5.0 and Apache Tomcat 5.5.28

    I need to update them to apache-tomcat-6.0.32 and java-1.6 update 25

    Any points in the right direction would be much appreciated.

    both of these can just be downloaded and then extracted, they contain everything in them needed to run

    you won't be able to just "update" the current installs of either of them most likely

    Just download, extract, and then configure tomcat properly to use that java
