    Question Authenticating to Samba Shares using Active Directory

    Hello all, I am trying to authenticate to samba shared folders using active directory. The domain controller is using server 2008 r2 and the clients are using win7. When connecting to the samba server (opensuse 11.3) I am able to connect to the shared folders but it does not ask for username and password to view contents of shared folder. I want the samba server to pull authentication info from active directory and I am at wits end here. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated.
