Using LAN module for older Kernel.

    Hi,

I am having two different Suse linux installation, one having 2.6.32.13 kernel and another having 2.6.27.3 kernel.

Now I want to add new LAN driver in older kernel version which is working perfectly in newer kernel. I don't have sources for lan driver or the kernel.

Is it possible use the LAN module which is compiled for new
version in older version without recompiling.

    Regards,

    Ravi Modi

    most likely NOT possible
but WHY aren't you just upgrading your old to new kernel ?
    on suse a simple
    zypper up
    or in yast online update
should do all that and make your systems BOTH identical for easier maintenance
