    Hello and Welcome!

You should have something in your System menus called YAST.
    That's your Package Manager.
You'll be able to install Wine from there.

Another way to do it would be to open a Terminal Window (kind of like a Windows command prompt).
Type su - and hit Enter. Type your root or Admin password.
    Use the command
    Code:
    zypper install wine
Your computer will do the rest.

    Hello and welcome!

Passwords are not echoed to the screen under Linux, so you'll need to enter your password as if it were showing, then press the ENTER key.

When you enter a password in a terminal windows, it doesn't print anything on the screen.
That's a security feature. Just trust us... when you type, it's going into the system.

    it works that way
    but another problem
    i wrote zypper install wine
    and then i got:

    refreshing service `nu_novel_com`.
    reading installed packages...
    `wine` not fined.
    resolving package dependencies...

    nothing to do.

I've never used openSUSE, so I don't know if there are other software sources or repos to add.
Perhaps a SUSE user will chip in with some info.

The link below provides detailed information on accessing repositories to install wine on various releases of opensuse. It also includes info on using it:
