    Back Up Hidden Files

    About to back up my computer and wondering if there is a good reason to include hidden files. Your opinion?

    The hidden files/directories in the home directories contain mostly user specific configs to applications.
    So yes: include them
    You must always face the curtain with a bow.

    I agree with Irithori that they should be included. You'll definitely run into some issues if you do a full restore and don't have them in your backup.
