    Proper driver to core - Intel i7 Q720

    I have a laptop, HP envy 15-1195eo. When I boot it in suse the fan runs at high speed, alteration what so ever. How do I check whether the core is running as it should? How do I check if I have a proper driver installed? Is there any other tests I can do?

    First and most importantly

    what is your country/climate zone / ambient temperature on your desk?

    My HP always runs the fan at full speed because I live/work in tropical countries at MAX allowed ambient working temperature (that is typically 35C) for any consumer electronics.
