NIC problem in SLES 10 SP2
I just installed on an HP Pavillion HPE (new) and it won't connect to anything. The OS seems happy enough. The NIC has been recognized, but I can't ping anything and the ip addr keeps coming back as loopback (127.0.0.1) even if I give it a static addr. I'm wondering about the driver (etc).

The loopback interface is not your NIC.
