Apt in OpenSuSE
Is it possible to use the packetmaneger in ubuntu in opensuse.
Reason why we wan't it in suse is thath we have school laptops thath the wifi is only work with suse.
The laptop is a Hp ProBook 4530s with SB i5 4gig ram wifi card is a Ralink RT3592 802.11 a/b/g/n 2x2

Hi and welcome to the forums.
In openSUSE, you have to use zypper to manage packages (or the graphical software tools in YaST). In the past you could use apt4rpm, but these days most rpm based distros no longer support apt4rpm.

It's quite simple using either YaST or zypper.
apt-get install zypper in(stall)
apt-cache search zypper se(arch)
apt-get remove zypper rm
apt-get update zypper ref(resh)
apt-get upgrade zypper up(grade)
add-apt-repository zypper ar
apt-get hold zypper al
In any case the man page is good.
I flip between apt on Ubuntu and zypper in openSUSE many times daily.
You can use the long or short, e.g zypper ar or zypper addrepo, etc.
