    Monitor goes to sleep


    I know this should be simple, but how do I prevent the monitor from going to sleep. (KDE).

    A few years ago there was an option for "presentation mode".

    You can set the screensaver off (the default is to turn off the monitory), but a lot of "green" monitors these days will shut themselves off if they don't detect any display changes in some period of time. If that is your case, you might want to check into the monitor configuration settings.
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
