    NTP WARNING: Offset 1.799236117 secs

    Hello

Please help me with the issue.

I have a warning message from nagios "NTP WARNING: Offset 1.799236117 secs "

I stopped the ntp service. I did ntpdate "timeserver". And start the service back. But it didn't work

Configuration is same as all other server. But this is the only server I am getting warning.

    Thank you,
    Krishna

    What's the issue?
The NTP Client was syncing the time, the time on your computer was off by 1.7sec
He was reseting it and loged a note that it was off quite much.

You may check what server you have set to sync too.
    Recommendation: Just set one.
