    Is SuSE Linux free?

I was looking into downloading SuSe but when I went to their site I was unable to find a link to download their OS. I did see that you could pay for something and I was not sure if that was the OS or some other thing. Is SuSE free? If so can someone direct me to the place to download it? Thanks!

    Hello and welcome!

The enterprise version of SUSE is not free, but openSUSE is free:

SUSE Enterprise uses openSUSE as a base, but otherwise it gets updated less often, has more security features implemented by default, has long term support and paid support options, and is generally meant more for business use.
