Question How to set video mode on install 11.4?

    Hello,
I did the online update and it did not go well. I am trying to re-install 11.4 and all goes well Until I get to the desktop, the video is about 1" x 1/2" little rectangle.?? I have tried to tell the video size when installing and it still defaults to the little unusable size. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

What video player are you using? Have installed and tried to use VLC or Kaffeine?
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.

Sorry I was referring to the installation of the operating system.

Try booting into text mode and then run startx from the command line. If there are errors, they should show up there.
