Question Trying to Dl Suze latest 12.3

I have tried 3 times today to get 12.3 from software.opensuse.org: Download openSUSE 12.1
When it nears completion I get a cannot write error bad domain or something. I have a mac and have tried using Safari and Firefox. Firefox freezes using downloadthemall as a dload manager. In the help area it mentions that is a good way to get a verified iso, But I cannot even get past about 10 secs of download before it freezes Firefox. PITA..

    hi,

have you tried downloading it from the command line (i.e., terminal)? you can use the wget tool (amongst others) for this, e.g.:

    Code:
    wget -c http://mirror.metrocast.net/opensuse/distribution/12.1/iso/openSUSE-12.1-DVD-i586.iso
the -c says to continue downloading a partially downloaded file that got interrupted (might come in handy).

Hello atreyu, Thanks that link worked 100% now I have to install it. That is 12.1 but should be new enough.
    Thanks again.

excellent, marking this as Solved then. If you still have related issues with downloading (i.e., if you want to chase down the Firefox problem), feel free to start a new thread and reference this one, if it applies.

And note that you can mark threads as Solved using the Thread Tools link at the top of the page.
