What is linux-xrcp.site ahd how do I get past its signin window

Running OpenSUSE and was trying to go from KDE to Gnome desktop. Now I have a signin screen titled "Welcome at Linux-xrcp.site" and a user and password box. I put in my user and password, screen darkens for a couple seconds as if it is going to a desktop, and then goes back to user and password screen.
On the bottom corner shows "Console login for Linux-xrcp.
What is Linux-XRCP and how do I get out of this endless loop and back to a KDE or Gnome screen.

Got out of this by going into Ubuntu and editing
/etc/sysconfig/displaymanager changing line to DISPLAYMANAGER="kdm" instead of "kdm3"
/etc/sysconfig/windowmanager changing line to DEFAULT_WM="kde" instead of "kdm3"
I had inadvertently chosen KDE3 when I did not have that desktop properly installed.
See complete answer at the OpenSUSE forum. Can search for user mrjacque.
