    printing problem

using the lp command to print a text file to an hplaserjet 600 m602 printer connected to a USB port. Prints small files perfectly. Larger files it stop after printing around 40 pages. Have no clue what to begin to look at. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you going via UPS? If so, check out the CUPS logs, maybe a clue or two there.

thanks, I'd looked through the logs but didn't find anything of note. Turns out it prints fine if I send it raw so I guess I need to take a look at the filter and see what is triggering the end of job on these files
