    How to empty TRASH???


    i right click on TRAS icon -> emty trash....TRASH icon is empty or it looks empty. when i open the TRASH folder it still contains supposedly emptyed files...how can i get reed of them from trash folder indefenetly?

    open the trash folder
    go to file-->empty trash.

    Hello ZarbaZana,

    If you want to delete files permanently, select the files and hold shift while you press delete. This should delete the files from your trash. This also works even when your not in your trash folder.

    I know this works in Suse, not sure about other distro's though.
