I'm running Suse 9.1 and installed snes9x through yast. I still can't figure out how to run a game. I have tried <snes9x /home/game.smc> but didn't work. Can anyone help?...

What errors (if any) are you getting?

No errors. It just shows that its trying to run something, then it goes back to nothing.

are you by chance entering this command into the Run Command prompt?

If so, load up a Konsole window instead, and then type in the command. That should show any errors the program is having.

If, however your already running the command in a console, im stumped. sorry.

i've only used the Windows version of SNES9x, but doesn't it offer a GUI so you can select the particular file you need rather than entering it as a parameter?

No GUI on the linux one.
Personally, I've always had problems with SNES9x on both windows and linux, but especially linux.
I strongly recomend using ZSNES instead, as it includes not only the same GUI on both platforms, but a lot of nice customizations and even the option of rendering everthing through OpenGL.
