    Try:

    YaST -> Change source of installation -> add http

    server name = ftp.uni-kl.de
    directory on server = /pub/linux/suse/i386/supplementary/KDE/update_for_9.2/yast-source

    OK, then finish;
    now quit YaST,

    next:

    YaST -> System Update
    And performe a system update, now, re-start X wth: Ctrl+Alt+Backspace

    I am also trying to update kde but am using SuSE 9.1.

    Just for the heck of it, I tried the same thing, after all KDE should be the same for both versions right?

    It spat a nice little error saying something like

    ERROR(InstSrc:E_no_instsrc_on_media)

    If there is a different address/server that should work then can someone tell me how to find it?

    You could try the server = ftp.suse.com
    and the dir = /pub/suse/i386/supplementary/KDE/update_for_9.1/yast-source

    For 9.1, the source would change, but the directions dylunio gave are almost identical to what you need to do.

    YaST --> Change Source of Installation --> add ftp

    server name = ftp.uni-kl.de

    directory on server = /pub/linux/suse/i386/supplementary/KDE/update_for_9.1/yast-source/

    You may want to (temporarily) disable your other installation sources; I've had to do that before.

    Then YaST --> System Update, then restart X
    There are two major products that come out of Berkeley: LSD and UNIX. We don't believe this to be a coincidence.

    They are not conflicts, they are the files being updated.

    Alright, now I am able to get the ftp source listed but when I do a system update, it has MANY conflicts.

    http://img128.exs.cx/img128/4827/snapshot13su.png

    Do I want to remove them, seeing as they all appear to be KDE but if I do so, will I be able to continue the installation? Or am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks for all of the help!
