    I use KDE System guard under KDE menu:

    System -> Monitor -> KDE System guard.
    File -> new.
    Under 'Sensor Browser' open "Localhost, network, interfaces, eth0, receiver, select and drag 'data' to the new window. Select 'Signal Plotter' in menu. This will plot incoming data into eth0.
    Do same again for transmitter for outgoing data if required. Scales can then be set if desired.
