SuSE 9.3 Professional vs. Student
I was looking to order SuSE 9.3 and noticed that the upgrade costs the same as the Student Version. Does anyone know if the Student version is exactly the same as the professional version? I assume it is, otherwise I'll just buy the upgrade.

AS far as i know the student version is just the same as the professional, but u might well have to be a student to get it, and also prove student status.

See my sticky:
http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/topic-38528.html
It explains just about everything you need to know about the different versions of SuSE. 9.3 is no different than any other version.Registered Linux user #270181

yes, ive read your sticky, but it doesn't say anything about student vesions. It only mentions proferssional vs. personal vs. downloadable versions
its seems tyhe studfent version is teh sam eas the professional, so I'll go ahead and order that. (btw, I am a student)
