    try this:
    Code:
    java -jar something.jar
where something.jar is name of the archive you downloaded. Also the readme files or install instructions on the site should tell you how to install such programs.
Life is complex, it has a real part and an imaginary part.

I had this one last night trying to run WW2D. As mentioned you can run a jar file with "java -jar nameofyour.jar" but often say in the case of azureus there will be a shell script, as it will need paths or variables set for it to run successfully. Also I find benefit from some apps having information in the terminal, so where not too inconvenient it can help to run it this way rather than with an applink.
