using buffalo pci wireless network card and WPA encryption in suse linux 10
I have newly installed suse linux 10 and need to connect to my wireless network which uses DHCP to allocate ip addresses and WPA-PSK encryption. I have tried to configure linux to find this network using Yast2 network card settings and KWiFiManager, it finds the local wireless networks but when I put the passkey into KWiFiManager, it simply just will not connect. the output from iwconfig is:
I would appreciate if anyone has any ideas, thanks.Code:wlan0 IEEE 802.11g ESSID:"Madness" Nickname:"Unknown" mode:Managed Bit Rate=54Mb/s Tx-Power:0dBm RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off Encryption key:off Power Management:off Link Quality:0 Signal Level:0 Noise level:0 Rx invalid neid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0 Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0

Kwifimanager can't handle wpa encrypted networks. Install the wpa_supplicant package from yast and use yast to configure the card.
