Installing SUSE 10.0
I picked up a copy of Linux Format magazine today at the airport and it came with SUSE 10.0 on a DVD. I've been doing some reading and i'm wondering if there is any risk for me to install this distro on my pc. From what i understand i can reclaim the partitioned space with a boot disk, and i can always delete this linuc distro if i so desire. But, from experience, is it common for it to freeze or to encounter errors in the installation. I just wanna make sure my files and XP OS are safe during and after the SUSE install.

if you install that on a different partition where the XP resides, that should be fine... but its better to do backup...
btw, just today, I have tried complete install of suse10... and its cool...

Hardware Drivers. In SuSE, ALL the hardware is detected and installed automatically! How is this harder than Windows' constant disc changing and rebooting?
