It looks like you don't have g++ (the GNU C++ compiler) installed. Check YaST for a package that is either named g++ or provides g++ (it'll be in the dev section).

    kde 3.5.1 install

    Dear Zelmo and TheDarthJysky

    Thanks for the replies.

I did not know about the repository, but its now added thanks.

The g++ (the GNU C++ compiler) I managed to install, by chance, I think!
Anyway 12 hours later, Konstruct has finished, I think I managed to install everything!!!

    It ended with
    "add /root/kde3.5.1/bin to your paths
    add /root/kde3.5.1 to your KDEDIRS"

Does anybody know what this means and/or how I do it?

Certainly after I rebooted I noticed no change in the desktop look or feel and no new packages installed in the Kmenu.

    Thanks for the help.

    Drew
