Network config in SUSE 10.0... where is DNS1&2? **SOLVED**
Can't seem to fin a way to get my network up and running in SUSE 10.0...
My IP addresses are
OF course it is not 85.186.abc.def, but you get the picture.Code:IP Adress: 85.186.abc.def Netmask: 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway: 85.186.abc.d Primary DNS: 193.226.ghi.jkl Secondary DNS: 217.156.mno.pqr
During the first boot configuration, after installing SUSE, I can configure my network card, but i can only get to input the IP adress, netmask & default gateway... Don't have a clue where to write the 1st & 2nd DNS.
Can someone explain how i can do this... In Fedora and Windows it was a piece of cake. Did I miss a step before the installation? What was it? (so I can remember it for next time)... Can anything be done after installation? What and how?
BTW, I don't use a proxy, WAN, LAN, DHCP or anything like that (or at least I don't think I do)...
Those above are in fact my real adresses... with digits instead of letters of course...

Are you using Yast to configure it? If so, it would be under Host name and name server configuration.
