    Media folder not opening

    Hi,

    Everytime I try and access the /media folder in suse 10 konqueror crashs, my usb pen drive will also not automount and I cannot access it as I cannot access the media folder.
    I can however mount my pen drive "mount /dev/sda1 /mnt".
    What could be causing this problem with my media folder. Any ideas

    i assume you can also access it in /mnt? hmm... i'll recommend running the YaST system repair tool off the install CD to check for errors. see what comes up. on second thought, has it ever worked?
    Here's why Linux is easier than Windows:
    Package Managers! Apt-Get and Portage (among others) allow users to install programs MUCH easier than Windows can.
    Hardware Drivers. In SuSE, ALL the hardware is detected and installed automatically! How is this harder than Windows' constant disc changing and rebooting?
