    Bad magic

    Hi

    I recieved this error message when trying to update;
    "While installing package ruby-1.8.2-11.2:

    error: unpacking of archive failed: cpio: Bad magic"

    Any ideas?

    Looks like a corrupt RPM to me; is this one that you downloaded, or were you updating via YOU?

    By the way, I think the title is fine just the way it is.
    There are two major products that come out of Berkeley: LSD and UNIX. We don't believe this to be a coincidence.
