    Two questions

My friends asked me this question:

    1. How to change root password
    2. He installed gcc and anjuta for C programming just like me. He can code and compile even make. But when he try to run the compiled one, message like this appear: "bash: permission denied". I can get this working (coding, compile and etc..). What the problem with his installation and any idea to solve that.

On number 2, can he compile and run code from the command-line? Is it just an issue with Anjuta perhaps?
