    open office

    help! i am a fairly new linux usr, i have used fc4 on another pc but this suse has me tied in knots! i have insalled open suse and managed to install java and real player without too much trouble but i cant/dont know how to instal with yast2.

    My biggest trouble is i cant find open office, says on the install that it comes with it installed but damned if i can find it! am i missing something?

    anyone help a newbie?

    If you are using KDE check the KDE menu. Usually its under Office submenu. If you cant find it, just install it through yast. To lauch yast in easy way. In KDE press alt+F2 and run window will appear. Just type yast there and yast window will pop up. Go to software and click software management. Here you can search for open office packages to install.
