    Question how to network SuSE 10.0 and XP?


    Would anyone know how to network the 2 together.

    i have a laptop running xp.
    and a desktop dual boot with XP and SuSE 10.0

    any idea how to network using ethernet conection.

    What exactly do you mean by "network"? Do you mean you want to share files between the two or just share a network connection? If you want to share files you'll need to look into something like SAMBA.

    the internet connection coming from my main computer my XP laptop.

    What type of internet connection is it? If it's broadband you can easily share the connection just by purchasing a small 4-port router and hooking up both computers to it via Ethernet cables. If it's dial-up, that's a bit more complicated.
