Connecting to Wireless Network with USB Receiver
I am very new to linux and just installed SuSE 10 about a half hour ago. I need to connect my PC to my home network but I don't know where to start. I have a 2Wire router/modem connected to the computer that i'm on now (runs windows) and a PC upstairs which is the computer I wan't to connect (runs SuSE). The computer upstairs normally connectes with a USB WiFi Receiver (Linksys WUSB54GS). I realize that I most likely need to install the drivers and I have the orginal CD with the drivers that came with the receiver but it is built for Windows XP.
If you could help me, how would I go about getting these drivers installed on the Linux system and what would I do after that? If this device is not compatible with SuSE which device is? (I'm trying to stick with USB devices because of stubborn PCI slots).
If anyone can help me out here, it would be greatly appreciated!
