    help with wireless network


    i have a compaq presario 1500 laptop and a motorola wireless pci card. yast2 recognizes it but doesn't give it a name, it just calls it pc-mia bus (or something to that effect). I'm not sure if i need a firmware upgrade or what but i need some help to initiate the card, because it doesn't even get power.

    find out which chipset the card is using by using this command:
    Code:
    lspci
    then see if any drivers are available using this thread
