Setting up Composite with ATI chipset
I try to enable composite in my suse 10.1 rc1. I used gentoo wiki as my guide to enable it. From the wiki, it said to enable composite extension. So I open up the xorg file and paste the additional line at bottom of the file. Then I restart X session and run a command to see whether Composite extension is enabled. This give me a positive result saying composite entension is enabled. Then I enable window transluency in Kde control center and once again restart X session. My kde session now start with horrible Interface. I cant see any windows, everything just messed up. In konsole when I run fglrxinfo command, the output says that Im using Mesa not ati default fglrx driver that I have installed. I guess this happened because I change the xorg.conf file. Help me enable this composite..Linux User #409695.
