    Server behind a router


    I had no problem setting up my server, but when I try to access it through another computer I am asked for a user and a password. How can I bypass my router so it can be broadcast without a user & password?

    ok, you'll have to provide just a little more information to make things a little clearer. First of all, what type of server are you running, http? If so, apache? In your router settings you will have to setup port forwarding, for example, if using apache http server then you would have to forward http traffic on port 80 to the local ip of the server machine, for example 192.168.0.5, or whatever it is...
