Installation Problems

Hi I am trying to load susi linux 9.3 in a 64 bit platform machine after the installation while booting up the screen becomes blank ( black )
Can any one help to resolve this issue

It is a "AMD-8000™ Series chipset" having

General:
• Up to four AMD Opteron™ 800 series processors
• GbE LAN controllers (2)
• Four 64-bit (3.3V) PCI-X slots
• ATI® RAGE™ XL PCI graphics controller
• 8MB Frame Buffer of video memory

Memory
• 128-bit dual channel (interleaved) memory bus
• Total of sixteen DDR DIMM sockets (4 per CPU)
• Supports up to 64GB of Registered DDR
• Supports Single/Dual/Quad Rank mem. modules
• Supports DDR 266/333/400 memory
• Supports ECC with CHIPKILL technology
