    fstab


    I wanted to mount FAT32 partition (/dev/sda3) permanently using fstab, so that i can use(read & write) the files on that partition for both windows and linux os. let me know how to go about it.

    Add this line to your fstab. And make sure you actually have /mnt/sda3 directory. Otherwise create it.

    /dev/sda3            /mnt/sda3            vfat       users,gid=users,umask=0002,utf8=true 0 0
