    Epson CX3810

I have recently purchased an Epson CX3810 printer, I was wondering if anyone had some information on what driver to use with it, or if there is some special configuration method needed. I am running Gnome, and SuSE 10.1 Thanks!

According to LinuxPrinting.org your printer works "mostly" with Linux and uses the Gutenprint driver:

when I plug in the printer it makes me go through the list of printers, is gutenprint in there, or is it something completely different. Thanks though, i'll keep trying, and post my results
    p.s.
How do I get it to scan?? It is an all in one printer...

Gutenprint has replaced Gimp-print. The actual driver should come in the Gutenprint package and you might have to install it if it's not installed already.

As for scanning, you'll probably need to install the Sane package. I don't use a scanner and have never installed Sane so can't really help with it.

yeah, it doesn't have my printer listed, but all it has to select from is gimp-print. I'll try to work on it when i'm done updating my system.
