Just installed Susi 10.1

Hi,

I just installed Suse 10.1 on my laptop.
I am looking for a Firewall that I can download and installed. Will zone alarm work with Linux OS!
Please recommand some linux firewall for my laptop.

No, Zone Alarm will not work with Linux, nor indeed with SuSE. No need to download a firewall, as SuSE-10.1 comes with a firewall.

The firewall should be enabled, by default.

To adjust the firewall settings, go to YaST (control center) > SECURITY and USERS > Firewall. You will have to enter the root password after starting up YaST.

By default, the firewall should need no adjusting. But later, if you have multiple PCs in you network, you may wish to open it up to ssh transfer.

You could check now, and see what (if anything) it is opened up to (besides the standard http and ftp).
