In kde i use to go to network and there i could see all workgroups and pc's in that workgroup.that's fine....now im on gnome.I go to :" Places --->network servers" ...

    Thumbs up how to browse network

    In kde i use to go to network and there i could see all workgroups and pc's in that workgroup.that's fine....now im on gnome.I go to :" Places --->network servers"
    is that correct ?

    1.I cant see anyone im my workroup or anybody around. how do i browse (so that i see all work group ?

    2 : what do i do to connect to a PC to access shares? (like windows :start-->run--> \\IP)
