RealTek driver
I installed SuSe 9 on an old 266Mhz computer. It worked poorly using X windows, no surprise. I re-installed for a minimum system and all is well.
When I installed the system with the GUI it found my RTL-8029 NIC with out any difficulty but installing the minimum system it doesn't find the NIC card.
When I use Yast2 and look for drivers the only RealTek it finds is the 8139.
I am confused!
