Help: ADSL USB Modem
I'm newbie in linux (I'm using SUSE 10.1), after some problems that I solved using some forums I found one that I can't find the answer:
I've finally installed the eciadsl-usermode and the eciadsl-synch.
It runs well, identify the USB modem, synchronize, but then stops with this info:
sent [lcp config id=0x1 <magic 0x2a742d0e>]
If you have a solution or an easyer way to connect please tell me.
Tks for your help, and sorry for my bad english

1st solution (if possible) Use the ethernet on the modem. That way it makes things a LOT easier. If that doesn't work, or you have no ethernet on the modem, what modem is it?

Help - ADSL USB modem
I've had a similar problem and I'm still researching it. In the meantime, when the activity hangs I open another session of konsole (or whichever terminal emulator you use) and enter "eciadsl-stop" which shuts down the modem and then "eciadsl-start" again and it works the second time.
It's a bit clumsy but it's always worked for me so far and I'm still trying to find a proper solution.Pete
