    Question Installing SUSE 10.1 ????

    Got SUSE 10.1 … 6 ISO’s i386 including add-on is disk 6.

Have 60 GB IDE Western Digital:
    6 GB has Win 98SE (FAT 32)
    12 GB has Red Hat 9 (ext3)
12 GB vacant (SUSE 10.1 hopefully)
    12 GB vacant (UBUNTU hopefully)
15 GB vacant (got any suggestions for a free version of another Linux?)

By installing Red Hat 9 I have GRUB

How exactly, and assume that I don’t know what, when or where to enter a command to install SUSE or any other Linux OS? I got lucky with Red Hat but SUSE isn’t installing itself and when I tried through Red Hat to view disk #1 of SUSE… Red Hat could not view the SUSE files?

Shame on me for being a windows guy.
Hurrah for me I am trying to convert to Linux!

installation procedure is almost same for all Linux distros. boot up from SuSe CD #1 and start installation. are you getting any error on booting up from SuSe CD?

It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
