Make "Shift + numeric" keypad act as "text highlighting" keys?
Is there a way to change the behavior of the "SHIFT+Numeric Keypad" keys behavior? Right now, holding down the SHIFT button puts the Numeric keypad into "numbers" mode. That is, instead of it acting as a duplicate keyboard navigation interface like the dedicated arrow and page movement key islands do, it outputs numbers instead, like when you have "Num Lock" toggled ON.
I got so used to "SHIFT + Numeric Keypad (arrows)" triggering "select text" operations, I find myself fighting my desire to use that combination to highlight text, and having to continually remind myself to use the arrow keypad island or the mouse instead. Is there a way to change the keyboard configuration to suit my ingrained tendencies?
Thanks.
