    Question Video Problem

I am a Newbie, I am using SUSE 10.1 with the Gnome Desktop, Nvidia Ge Force 3 Card.
Using the Jem Report I have got a pretty good setup, but I have a problem.
When playing films with Kaffiene the quality is good cept that there are 2 or 3 parrellel lines of multi coloured dashes ( || || || ) ( mainly green ) accross the screen. On booting there are parrallel lines of white dashes accross the screen. These dashes are not there after boot, nor in other applications. How can I remove these dashes, any ideas ?

This has happened in one or two of the xine releases. It sucks, it has come and gone with updates for me in the last 3 releases. Try zooming out, that certainly worked for me in Totem but I can't seem to zoom back out from the default in Kaffeine. The shortcut is ctrl/- if you want to try it anyway. Mplayer is not affected by this from what I have seen, it is a Xine issue.
