glitchy text mode in linux suse 10.1

ok i installed the latest nvidia drivers for my computer with no problem. rebooted and all started up with no problem. shows the nvidia logo and all and all 3d games work. but when i hit ctrl alt f2 to go into the text mode it works but everything is fuzzy with lines everywhere but text is readable and everything works in there just glitchy. is this ok? cause it doesnt really bother me just dont want it to mess up my computer. is there a fix to this.

    fuzzy screen

I had the same problem with the nv driver(the one with the distribution) and it cleared up when I installed the nvidia proprietary driver.I'm using the newest beta driver. Also , when I turned off the computer it did some funky scrolling stuff and it didn't show the shutdown messages - turning off services and other stuff.
I'm running fedora 6, I don't know if it makes any difference

    nvidia drivers

    For a stable driver
    http://www.nvidia.com/object/unix.html
For the beta driver(I'm using the beta for AIGLX)
    http://www.nzone.com/object/nzone_do...etadriver.html

You'll have to compile them into the kernel.
Also, the beta driver has a glitch, it didn't compile for me straight away.
Depeding on your kernel version you'll have to edit(unzip de .run archive insted of running it)

    NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-9626-pkg1/usr/src/nv/nv-linux.h

    remove #include <linux/config.h>
    add #include <linux/autoconf.h>

You might want to read this before installing the drivers(NVIDIA vulnerability):

    It never gets easy :P
