    FTP Issue

    Hey all...

I'm having one of those weird problems again. I have an Asus WL-500G Premium router (the one where you can hook up a hard-drive to it's USB port). And I can reach that drive by FTP.

I'm currently using gFTP to transfer all the files but right from the start it didn't do the work it was supposed to do. When I transfer file by file it works great but when I copy a whole directory to the drive it goes wrong. It skips randomly files with the error "unable to copy to (null)". This sounds like a empty variable error....

The funny thing is, I've tested it with my wives computer (Windows Xp) and it works flawlessly... Thus, the router and harddrive work good. But, I'm not thinking of switching to Xp so I need it working on my Suse Enterprise system...

Anyone know where to locate this problem?? Thanks for the help...
    regards.

    Martijn.

ps; I've tested several (java and python based) FTP programs and they all fail...
