    A noob here..

    I tried running the live cd...i followed the instructions, restarted comp, boot from cd..and entered into some menu..then i typed linux as it says

    but it tells me that "could not fund kernel image: linux"


    can anyone help? This is my 1st time using linux...

    Exactly which Live CD did you use? I haven't used the SUSE live CD but it should just boot up without you having to type anything.

    that would be SUSE-Linux-10.1-GM-LiveDVD...

    theres 2 options that u can type...1 of it is "linux", which is the normal loading of Suse, and a safe mode..which i think u type "safe*****". Cant remember wat it was called sorry. Both of them throw up the same error.
